HELP WANTED
“Many hands make light work” . NWT has become a very busy and successful charity and its enthusiastic volunteers are getting increasingly busy as more opportunities emerge - the picture with so many groups of this sort. We would like to find some more people who could work with us, possibly as a regular member of the Committee, or perhaps working outside it and attending meetings as relevant. Two areas with which we could do with help at the moment are:
a. Publicity Officer: we have invaluable support from the Nettleham News, but we could do with someone to work with the local media and through other channels to get our message and activities across to the wider public.
b. Events Organiser(s) : there are times when we need someone to take on a specific role e.g. ensuring we have a presence at a local carnival, planning a planting day and engaging local schools or youth groups, or dealing with everything to do with the AGM except the business. As the trees in Monks Wood grow, it could be that we will run occasional evening or holidays activities there, but these need someone to have an overview.
